Driver Related Solutions

You can find and download the latest drivers for your ugee product directly from the official ugee website. Navigate to the "Support" section and then to the "Download" page. You will need to enter your specific product model to find the correct software and drivers.
First, make sure you have the correct and most recent driver installed for your tablet model. After installing the driver, open the ugee driver program (the ugee icon should be on your desktop or in your system tray) to check the pressure sensitivity settings. You can run a pressure test in the driver's control panel. If the issue persists, you may need to check the pen settings within the specific drawing software you are using (e.g., Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint) to ensure it is properly configured to recognize pen pressure.
Download the correct driver from the ugee website. For Windows, unzip the file if needed, quit other drawing software, and run the installer. On Mac, open the .dmg file and follow the installation prompts. After installation, the driver should run automatically; if not, launch it manually from the UGEE folder. If the device is not detected, restart your computer or driver.
Before installing the ugee driver, uninstall all other tablet drivers on your system. If the error persists, use software to clean the registry and reboot. Sometimes a system format may be necessary if conflicts cannot be resolved.

Setup & Getting Started

For most ugee tablets, the process involves two main steps. If you use a physical connection, then connect the tablet to your computer using the provided USB-C to USB-C cable. If your computer doesn't have a full-function USB-C port, you may need to use a USB-A to USB-C cable. If you use driver installation, then download and install the appropriate driver for your operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux) from www.ugee.com. Once the driver is installed, a ugee icon should appear on your desktop or in your taskbar, allowing you to customize settings.
Yes, many ugee models are compatible with Android devices (version 6.0 and above). To connect, you will typically need to enable the "OTG" function in your phone or tablet's settings and connect the devices with a USB-C cable. Note that a driver is not required for phone/tablet connections.
Ensure your phone/tablet supports OTG and has the OTG function enabled. Connect the ugee Q6 via the USB-C cable, disable auto-rotate on your device, and slide the mode switch to select the drawing area. Open your phone’s drawing software to start. Compatibility is for Android 6.0+/HarmonyOS 1.0+; battery level should be above 20%.

UGEE Tips

Customize the driver settings like pressure sensitivity and shortcuts. If using multiple screens, choose which screen displays your drawings. Software like ibisPaint is recommended for beginners on mobile devices. Keep your driver up-to-date and calibrate your pen for the best performance.
